SEE YOU NEXT TIME

See You Next Time captures the intimate moments shared between a Chinese nail technician and her Black client in a Brooklyn nail salon, giving a nuanced look into how two women of color see each other in a space unlike anything else in their worlds. It premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival, received the Audience Choice Award at the Nitehawk Film Festival, and was an official selection of Sundance, HotDocs, BlackStar, AFI Docs, and Aspen Shortsfest. It was nominated for a Cinema Eye Honors award and qualified for the 2021 Oscars. It’s currently streaming on The New Yorker.
